I posted this on another forum as well and I'm just looking for some reassurance on a purchase I made and I just wanted your guys' opinion on the motor and setup:
Block: 0 mile 2.3L 4g63 stroker o-ringed, .20 over 6bolt, OEM 2.4 crankshaft uncut and polished, Eagle H beam rods, Ross 9.0:1 stroker pistons, evo III headgasket, ARP L19 headstuds
Head: small port Hyundai Sonata head with matching intake plenum, 0 miles Delta k272 cams (intake exhaust), Evo 9 valve springs and retainers, ss valves, new seals and gaskets.
The motor is torqued and timed already. I should've asked about this prior to buying it but, you live and you learn. This is my first Stroker.
Also, I read you should retard one of the cams (prefereable exhaust cam) 5 degrees...?
