I recently installed a hx35 along with a bunch of other things to go along with it.
I went for a quick test run and of course the stock clutch did not like 3rd gear and 28psi. So I have been looking at which clutch to get and cant decide. This car is not a daily, only driven on some weekends and mostly to and from the track. Question is looking at all clutch options it seems most stage 4&5 clutches are cheaper I just dont want a clutch that is to radical and hard to shift.
I also dont know the difference of sprung or unsprung. 3 years ago in my 2g fwd I was running a clutch masters stage 3 kevlar disc on my 16g and it held just fine at 28psi and I ran a 11.98. Wondering if the 6 puck is the best way to go? I am figuring with this hx35 I will be making more power than on my 2g and wanna make sure it will hold up for awhile. Any recommendations would be great, thanks for your input guys!!
