So i purchased a 1995 GST the front brakes are no good so i decided to change all 4 brakes and rotors, The new rear brake pads and rotors went in easy, as for the front the pads and the rotors didn't fit !!!! the rotors and the pads i ordered were much smaller than whats on the car now.

Help i need to change the rotors and pads asap :thumb::thumb::thumb:

I have a 1995 eclipse GS-T

Is there a common swap for the front brakes that im not aware of ?

Are your calipers single or dual piston? If they're dual piston, they're probably just the GSX brakes. They're a common swap. However, if you want to go one step further, you can buy a set of 05-06 Mitsubishi Outlander rotors and a set of 05-06 Outlander caliper brackets and have even more stopping power. But IMO for a daily driver, the GSX ones are more then enough.

EDIT: ^ Beat me to it. :p

I'd go to NAPA and ask for their Premium line of rotors and ask for the Adaptive One pads. Excellent, excellent street pads for the price. It will probably be around $100 for the pads and rotors. Ask for 97's. I'm not sure if 95-96 had the larger rotors, I could be wrong though.

Time for some pictures. That'll help us better identify what's going on here.

I'm pretty sure the pads alone will run you $100. At least at my NAPA.
