Im going to be rebuilding my 6bolt that I just picked up and I just want to make sure I have all the corners covered before I start buying thins for it.

The turbo I will be running is a PTE 3431E, and i will be using stock crank, rods and pistons.

This is what I am planing on getting for it as of now...
ARP main studs
BSE kit
OEM Timing belt, bearings ect
ARP Head studs
Cosmetic HG
ARP Rod kit
Revised 3g lifters
Engine gasket kit
ALC Rod and main bearing set
Crank shaft spacer for BSE
Ferrea or Supertech (not sure what ones) valve guides, seals and locks
264 cams (have already)
Evo 8 (I think) springs and retainers
BC or supertech valves (not sure what ones)

Would like to go to 500Hp or so, not right away but eventually so I want to make sure this will work for this goal, I know a stock 6bolt could get me there but I wouldnt mind having the extra security and reliably.

Please let me know any thoughts what so ever you have with this plan!

Thanks

If you have the motor out you minus well build now if you plan on making high power later it won't hurt anything. I'd also get a Kevlar belt to be safe as well. I'd also look into fuel upgrades as well. If you plan on going big later you minus well set yourself up now but other than that it looks good to me

Technically you should get the mains lined bored when you switch to ARPs. I would assume you need to get the big end of the rod checked as well. IMO, the stock main bolts are fine for 500 whp and will save you a headache and money. I hope so cause that's what I have :D

IDK what the rod bolts cost, but if you need to get the rods machined because of the bolts, then you might be better off spending $350 on a set of forged rods.

Maybe Bogus will chime in on the machine work part...

Yeah I would love to go with some forged internals but im trying to stay in very tight budget! as seen here

The motor will be the last thing built Im getting everything else fist to see if there will be room for the forged internals.

I will be doing Bogus oil port mod 1 also! If some one else can confirm that OEM main bolts will be for about 500hp than ill stay with them! every penny counts.

Grrr why didn't they auto merge?
