Different Valve Cover

I wonder if there ever sell different kind of valve cover and look nice. I mean i look everywhere on site to see if there different kind of valve cover because my valve cover look boring when open the hood. If there no fancy valve cover so i guess im just paint it.

If you have it powder coated then be sure that they will use a soda blaster, not a sand blaster. Unless you remove the baffles under that valve cover do not use sand.

Haven't seen any sort of aftermarket one, and an aluminum "fabbed" one. Most I have seen is people shaving the letters off and polishing them, or cleaning them up and repainting them. A little paint can go a long way though.

Frontline Fabrication has been in the machining process stages of producing a billet aluminum machined valve cover. It is not done yet as he is making tweeks to the code for better fitment and waiting on materials to produce more. If you are interested in purchasing one, you can email him at [email protected] . Pricing will likely be in the $600-750 range due to cost of materials and the extensive duration of machining required for each piece. It would likely be a month or so until they are ready to start being made for customers.

$600 for a nice valve cover? I paid $120 for mine, cherry apple red... Whatever you do DO NOT spray paint the valve cover, even if you use high temp paint, it will eventually rub off... I spray painted my valve cover on my first try and ended up fading after 3months. Powder coating will out last the valve cover

Just paid 130 for a powdercoated one on ebay. IF i had a useable core it would knock 60 bucks off. Pretty good deal. Unfortunately for me, mine has been MIG welded with alum....VERY poorly . Its jacked up bad.

I've used high heat paint and even the purple "anodized" paint from parts stores. Still holding up fine for me. Granted I always use high heat clear as well, but there is still nothing wrong with painting a valve cover. So long as it's done right.

Gorgeous piece, Tim. What can be done with CNC these days is just ridiculous. Andrew really has something there- basically a valve cover with a lifetime warranty as solid billet will never crack. You'll crack the head before you'd crack this over from over-torquing.

I'm a huge fan of the flat areas on the passenger's side for Army/Navy bungs to be welded for an awesome catch can setup.

They will be threaded for AN-10 threaded O-ring boss fittings. The cover is shallower than OEM so it will clear the hood with a 90-degree threaded fitting and straight hose fitting.

The oil cap will also be a threaded O-ring fitting.

The cover gasket grooves are being modified a bit currently in program to better fit the OEM cover and plug gaskets. It will also have built-in pedestals to attach a COP setup.

+1 mine has high heat purple paint and still looks good after about 6k so far!
