What all is involved in this mod?

Is the end of the intake cut off so it can be hone from one end to the other and rewelded.

Is it done with a honer.?
Is this a porting procedure?
Could someone explain please

I'm sorry but you need to be more specific for what you're trying to do.

Why? Is there another type of "extruded" intake, other than extrude honing?
I was confused with how he worded it, I didn't realize what exactly he was asking. (I know what extrude honing is but I didn't know if that's what he was asking).

OP, here's a link to how a company breaks down their process on it. http://www.inlinefour.com/extrudehone.html

For the cost to get this done you'd be close in price to a used Sheet metal manifold. Extrude hone is definitely something done to dsms before so many companies made sheet metals manifolds.
