i dont go to UNOH but i live about 30 minutes from UNOH. actually getting ready to pull my tranny out due to i believe i have some clutch issues so if ## bored jk

I will be starting back at unoh in october
I have one degree but I want to get my High Performance auto diesel

I did a compression test today to double check my suspicions and was dead on with my diagnosis. Cylinder1 60psi cylinders 2&3 are at 160psi and 4 is at 150psi. Looks like Im getting a new bottom end from the Graveyard... now the question is whether or not I need to do some machine work to the block. Im thinking of just going ahead and getting the frankenstein rods and 8.5 pistons, save a little money overall and get it closer to the 400HP mark that Im aiming for. I know I said I want to build it to hold 600 but thats the absolute highest I think I would want to take it. I would be more than happy with 400 and a little peace of mind that its not gonna scatter on me because I took a shortcut. I will be posting more details as they come for anyone who really cares... LOL

I don't go to unoh or live in Lima I live around an hour away and I have three friends that took high performance auto tech an had a couple other diiizzzzuuummmmm friends up there I like the car scene in that town

For those of you attending UNOH for automotive or high performance what do you think? I am very interested in attending but want to get some opinions on what people think of the courses and if they are getting a lot out of the school? I am especially interested in the engine machining and high performance engine machining.

Iv got a buddy who is attending UNOH for diesel tech and seems to love the class structures. But ya lima doesnt have a bad car scene; I live about 15 mins south of there. However moved to cbus for school and the car scene blew me away; to be expected of a large city I guess but the DSM support around here is phenomenal!!! Course once oil prices shoot up to the moon it converts a lot of people from hardcore v8 builders to 4 cylinder guys. But thanks to 50 trim turbos and etc we have ourselves a "replacement for displacement" ;)

I live in lima, I go to UNOH, its not really Tuner friendly but oh well..

I start at UNOH on August 20th and will be living on main campus. Plan to swap a 4G63T into the Laser before i hit campus. Also will be doing a AWD Swap. Lets get some meets going

I just graduated from UNOH this past June, I'm hoping to have My Vr4 done for the shootout next month.
Any of you guys planning on going?

Terence

I'm thinking about heading there to hang out and check it out.
My car won't be done by then but I'd still like to check it out.

I hope the shipping gods a nice for once I bunch parts on order I just lost an engine to timing belt going bad. I had a spare engine in garage from a car that was parted out. But I wanted new timing belt for it. And oil cooler lines had crack and leaking so I order new lines fitting and cooler. The lines was left out and belt had to be shipped from a warehouse location unknown so playing the waiting game. I suppose to get car dyno tunned at Pure Tuning in Toledo Ohio on saturday.
