All shift knobs I have ever used, (except ford knobs) thread on tight. Honda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota, Chevy, they all thread on tight as hell. The Ford uses a larger thread and bolt. So I had to make my own rod since my shifter's top rod is removable.

In my 1g I'm running an evo 8 shift knob on a fidanza short throw. What I really wanna get is what is called a shifty. A local guy at a forced4s car meet at quaker steak and lube sells them. They are awesome. Really good for an aluminum knob in the summer or to protect leather from the suns rays.

Go with the mitsu logo knob. I had a B&M shifter and the symborski kit... they went well together. However I always used a stock shift knob because nothing else ever felt right to me.

Short shifter, Blox Neo 490 gram shift knob and black c/f vinyl shift boot. I need to redo it and put the round circle thingy at the end of the boot LOL

I have seen those knobs before. I like them. NASCAR cars use them. I think CV products is Brian Vicker's Dads company.

well, can't find any pics of the one in my 1g. but it's a Momo, small, black, and leather. pretty nice.

but the cool one is in my wife's t/a. got it for her bday, since that is what she requested.

made by cv products. all aluminum, and hollow. had to tap and drill the bottom, to get it to the correct thread size.

I still have the original shifter knob in my car.
