Anybody have an ECU and power transistor I can test?

I live in the Chesapeake area, and was wondering if someone in the area has an ECU or a Power Transistor I can use to see if that's the reason I'm not getting any spark. Thanks in advance! :D

Why not learn to troubleshoot instead of being a part swapper?

Because I've tested the entire circuit from the fusible link all the way through. The ECU isn't grounding pin 8 but not 38 when ign 1 power is being put to the ECU, but both MPI and fuel relays close when pins 4 on both relays are grounded, which leads to me receiving power at pins 12 and 25, but nothing is coming from the ECU power transistor wires on pins 10 and 23. So I've found that pins 38, 10, 23, etc. have no output power to them.

I've been troubleshooting this for about a month now, and now I'm clearly not seeing the correct continuity or resistance on the power transistor as I've tested according to the forums and the Haynes service manual.

I just wanted to see if anyone nearby had an electrical component that I can use to validate my findings, as my own PTU is obviously not working. So believe me, I've been troubleshooting.

This is the first time I think I've ever asked to borrow a doner part, so please don't label me as something I'm not. I work as an information systems technician for nuclear aircraft communication circuits, so I'd like to think that $200,000 of your tax money hasn't gone toward imperative training of how I troubleshoot circuits. Thanks for your post though, it was extremely assistive and informative, and now my car works like a charm...

...not. :p

You make all that money and wont buy a power transistor? Something doesnt add up. Nice attempt at bragging though.

I wasn't bragging, I was simply stating that I have experience with electronic circuits, and that it's ignorant of you to judge the situation without knowing anything of it. Learn to read; it cost $200,000 worth of training in IT circuit infrastructure. I don't actually have that money, it comes out of your taxes every year. Look at: HowStuffWorks "How Income Taxes Work" .
Nice attempt at a rebuttal, however. I didn't mean to get you gassed up, I was simply calling you out on saying something stupid. Which is now 2 for 2. I was just playing around, but it's posts like yours that make it difficult for people to progress on this site. So for everyone's sake, please keep the arrogant comments to yourself. Thanks for the help!

No one is gassed hotshot. My initial comment was offbase and I admit that. I offer a humble apology. Its been a long day.
