S2K Shift knob is very similar to the old style Type R Shift Knob. I used to have a Civic Type R Shift knob on my cars....

After the Mustang Knob, I had to get another for the new car (Eclipse) and I found out that the Focus has the same knob except its black. And the Eclipse is Black so I jumped on it. Its one of the most comfortable shift knobs I've ever owned. I hated the Honda R ones cause it is either blistering hot or insane cold!

I like the OEM 2g leather wrapped best. I used to have a really crazy looking knob from simoni racing or somehting like that. It was uncomfortable as hell so I went back to OE.

I looked for a while to get a stock 2g leather knob and finally got one and i love it!

Don't need to show mine. it is the stock 2g OEM LEATHER shift knob.

I tried running different ones. Even had an expensive Greddy weighted shift knob.

Always end up going back to the 2g OEM Leather.

I will trade my more expensive Greddy for an almost new looking 2g knob.

I also dont like those shift knobs that use those crappy adapter threads. EVO 8 know is nice too.

You can get the stock OEM 2G leather one for $18 at JNZ.

TSI91, what year did you get that shift knob out of? Cause 2g's had a couple different ones, Atleast Two. I know 95 Shift knob and boots are different from 96+.... that knob doesn't look like a 96+. I have one and hate it. Thats why I got the Mustang Shift Knob. But I really like yours.

Had this in my 2g before I destroyed the tranny and went auto 1g... IMO it is THE easiest to bang gears with.

AND, it doesnt use them POS allen head set screws to hold it on. It threads on. This combined with a b&m short shifter and symborski shift kit with skateboard bearings in place of the shifter cable bushings made for extremely tight/controlled shifting.
