My friend is doing this to his 1gen, he got the pic from here but this is how its gonna be when its done, exactly like this.
He is the best when it comes to custom fibrication, carbon fiber and shit like that.

It seems that no one likes body kits here, but smart looking 1G all the same kidtsi, although the rear bumper looks a little strange without the license place groove.

And the 2G w/EVO bumper gets a lot of points for originality at the least. The stormtrooper 1G was pretty unique, if not a little weird.

Eh. That's a bold statement to make. You'll find that within the DSM community, function>form. The only beauty we car about is under the hood LOL, Especially 1g guys. We have all the fast/intimidating cars. We let the 2gs be the "cute" ones cause they're a bit too chubby.
:pROFL

I was ready for some lame shit, but it actually looks pretty nice.
I'd like to see the back close up when its done.

that bumper looks good it....it like it a 40 year old got a face lift and an extreme make over and it looks 20 years younger...

in other words it gives it the looks of a newer model

1g guys would notice the difference. ;)

The 1gb lower bumper looks ok on the 1ga. It takes some getting used to but not bad.

Maybe its because I'm a 2g DSM'r but I like the 1ga to 2gb front bumper conversion (with a different FMIC), I do like the rear and side PS of the car you posted above though it looks good. Technically you NEED a rear license plate and I'm not a fan of Honda squat on the back wheels... :barf:

LOL. I don't see how you figure the 1g's are intimidating tho.

Lol I'm with you on that one. I've never understood how the 1g owners feel that they are more manly simply because they don't have a curved shape.
Curves>angles 2g ftw

We'll see how he pulls off the bumper and flared fenders - I'm not sure the lines will look right on the wide fenders. In order for it to sit that low and be functional, he's going to have to address the suspension in a major way (or run skinny wheels, which will not look as good as the wide/deep versions in the photo), not to mention the inside seems in the rear fender. I like the look of the rear bumper cover, but most of us can't lose the license plate. It would be nice to see how he plans to solve that.

I've always liked the 1gb front bumper better, and have also thought about adding in the vertical fins to my 1ga bumper... still might try it. He should consider adding a chin spoiler to it.

I don't like the second option you posted.

I definitely like the rear and sides - definitely needs to be that low to pull off the overall "look", so he's got some suspension geometry modifications ahead of him.

What he does with the front will really make or break the car. Simple and clean is the way to go! :thumb:

Are the wheels supposed to have camber or are the fenders rolled out?

The front looks like it has the hood off a 1.8 with out the power bulge or something.
