I'm getting ready to put a wideband on my 95 non turbo Eclipse with the 420A engine. The only problem is I can't find out which wire is which on my stock O2 sensor. There are 4 and I need to know what each one is. My Haynes manuel doesn't tell me. Can somebody help?

"Common Bosch 4-wire O2 sensor wire functions"
*Black is sensor output
*Gray is sensor ground
*Both Whites are for the heating element(one has power, one has ground..they are reversible)

"This is the common color break down of the sensor pigtail...not the actual colors on the car side of the O2 harness".
Dan-TSS

So is this going to stay true at the ecu as well? Also, how am I supposed to know which white is doing what?

Ummmm...
*look at the sensor pigtail...follow it to the plug in for the car harness....look at the corrosponding wires in the same positions on the car side of the harness and note the color change.
**Look at the ecu for the same color.
