ECMlink DSMlink screen shot request?? please help

Im asking for some screenshots of your fuel and airflow map screens on dsmlink to get an idea if i have an issue or what. I think i have to add an awful lot of fuel to get a good afr at 20psi.

my setup

fp18g 20psi
3" exhaust w/ fp race manifold
750cc fic inj
stock mas
ets fmic


just need to see your slider setting so i can get an idea if mine is messed up

there are a few i added just a touch of fuel because i was trying to set my airflow settings but still that not really adding fuel took timing away so i could set the mas settings and well as you can see its way lean afrs...... its gettin annoying..

and you are the second person, my buddys car is the same way 20psi on a 16g and hes taking fuel away something is going on in this car....

yes setting where from dsmlink manual for the 750s also swapped back to stop injector and turned boost down to 12psi and it still runs leaner that what it should still mid 11's for a afr even gettin down to a 12.o afr... so somethings messes up im thinkin i need a new fuel pressure gauge i can check the pump pressure under boost

Your boost est doesn't look too bad, not enough to make your AFR's come out that bad. I'd look into a fuel pressure/flow problem. Is your pump re-wired? What pump are you running? AFPR? How old is your filter? When you installed they pump, are you sure its sealed and not internally leaking back into the tank or the little cap on top the holds the ring down didn't come off and go up into the pump housing assembly.

Its is a fresh rewire, i rewired it again last night because I was losing some voltage but its good now and still doing it.

Its a rewired evo8 pump and no afpr. Fuel filter is only a month old, and i took the pump out end of last week to make sure the oring was seated right. It all looked great so now I'm thinking I need to get a in cab fuel gauge and check my fuel pressure under boost...... and maybe the evo8 pump is gettin a little weak. My old fuse holder for the fuel pump rewire was melted badly so im wondering if the pump is starting to go bad and draw to much curent and thats why the fuse melted

things i have done to try to fix this
swapped mas
changed ecu due to some corrosion
swapped injector resistor
swapped back to stock injectors and turned boost to stock
changed fuel filter
*changed the fuel pressure regulator


And thats all I can think of, none of this mattered so im thinking eiter maybe a wire for a injector or the fuel pump???

This issue is stumbling me and my buddy and has been for awhile

i checked to make sure the o-ring that seals it was in place but idk what cap hmmm might have to tear it back apart tomorrow....

Definitely looks like a fuel delivery problem. The vac line still hooked to the FPR? No cracks in it?

Checking your fuel pressure under boost is a good idea.

yup still hooked up through the fuel pressure solenoid and the lines are good and it looks like i need to order me a electronic fuel pressure gauge.. darn car

Bypass the solenoid. Its not needed. I've switched from a evo9 pump to a 255 and teh car leaned out. I was like WTF????. Turned out the little plastic cap on top of the fuel pump outlet had come off and went sideways up into the pump housing and blocked off a good portion of flow.

Log battery voltage to see how bad your voltage drop is at WOT.

What does your WB gauge read? AEM doesn't log the best in ECMLink. Its supposed to be more of a 1g issue, but I personally never trust a logged AEM WB value. I stopped logging mine b/c it was such a PITA.

Have you checked the fpr? I'm not sure how, but there has to be a way to check that the stock one is working right.

The wideband shows actually leaner that what the log does. At idle link shows about a 14.4 afr when the gauge shows 14.7

and also should have added that to the list of parts i have changed to see if it made a differance and no change..

ill see what i can get tomorrow for a new log im going to take the pump out and triple check it again and see what going on from there..

Here is a 3rd gear pull from this morning with the batt voltage, and also with the aem wideband add about .5 leaner to the afr i was reading about 12.4 ish upper rpms not the 11.8ish

edit: this log is at about 13-14psi 18g with stock injectors and rewired evo* pump and all dsmlink timing, fuel, and airflow maps zero'd out

I'd like to see a pull with the larger injectors in and just global/deadtime adjusted. The stock injectors are overrun quite a bit and the log isn't too helpful.

I also think you should turn your knock TPS % down for a log or two (maybe 30%?) just to verify you aren't getting anything bad. The 75% you have it is just too high for my liking unless you get phantom knock like crazy.

Wideband is wire into the rear o2 with the 5v output of the wideband (aem) and its the recc distance away from the manifold 32"? i think it was dont remember on top of the exhaust pipe andi do have a converter (3" magnaflow high flow)

and ill try to get the 750s back in the car tonight and get another log but everything flatlined it pretty much does the same thing at that low of boost runs way leaner than it should unless my wideband is messing up

alright... i took the pump out and checked that piece on top and it fell out of the sending unit when i pulled the pump out so... idk it was in there wrong or not, but i do know that when i put it back together the pump seated up higher in the sending unit.. so maybe was blockin it a little bit. but still seems to be running leaner than what it should (where it says around 11.0 arf was about 11.4 afr) but that was up around 6500-7k rpm

but here is a log with the 750s back in the car, all maps flat lined with no adjustments

ps ill dl the new version of the dsmlink software i came home and started working on the car

Ok, that's what boostest is showing. It's still running a little lean for everything zero'd out. The estimated AFR is showing 10:1 while your running ~11.1:1. You may still have a slight problem with your fuel pressure. Your fuel trims are a little on the positive side.

running a rewired evo8 pump and my gauge thats on the fuel rail is not working correctly now i need to get a new one so i dont know but im running a stock fpr

Get a gauge on there and verify base FP. I see you have a 6 bolt, any chance you have a 1g fuel rail with a 1g FPR on there?
