Has anyone ever tried reinforcing the rear diff with steel braces, or a stronger diff cover to stop flexing under load?

Yea i noticed when my bushes went out last year that the diff was only supported on one side which is why the diff bushes always go bad :notgood: the holes are there on the other side to take another bracket so its unusual that someone has not done something????

There was a guy on DSMtalk that made a brace. I think it was in the custom parts thread. Ill go look and see if I can find it

Strictly modified made a drivers side solid brace for there 9 sec 2G. Plus the solid aluminum bushings in the stock locations.

I have the Strictly Modified reinforced rear diff brace. I also have solid aluminum bushings. No clearence issues. And I believe it helps. My old stock bushings were torn too. It is a little loader in the rear with a QuarterMaster clutch too. But you get use to it. I will try and post pics soon.
