Gettin the car ready for the road trip, hasn't been on the road much for the last two or three weeks. Did my timing belt, water pump, cam seals, oil change, and SAFC install today plus a little bit of road tuning. Gonna convert my car to non-ABS tomorrow and get the front end aligned, ready for the dragon. :thumb:

The girlfriend (Tara) may be bringing up her '88 MR2 for the dragon on Sunday. She likes driving, not riding Lol

won't be there. sorry, my swap is still not complete. argh

Sorry to hear that man. Next time. :)

Ok everyone. Everything is set and ready to go at Appalachian Performance tomorrow. If you are going to be dynoing, please be there no later than 10am. Everyone coming to watch/hang/eat can show up whenever you like.

We will start grilling out at about 12:30pm for lunch and two big gas grills. We have plenty of food; if you want to bring drinks or chips feel free. We have quite a bit, but it will be close to 80 with a nice clear sky tomorrow. Dress accordingly. LOL

The live feed will on USTREAM.COM will start at about 10am. If you want to watch and chat about the dyno action here is the link:

We are meeting at the IHOP on Smokey Park HWY. I believe the address is 225 Smokey. It's right off of exit 44 from I 40. We'll be there at 8am! See ya!

We are in the process of getting a knoxville meet together at Full Boost Tuning (strip club directly across the street...hahaha) and you Nc guys are more then welcome to come down for some . We are thinking bout getting everybody together and going to 411 dragstrip for some real intertainment.... Yall need to bring the fast cars cause we got em down here..haha

Adam: 1g Laser RS - 119
Heather: 2g Eclipse GS-T - 168
Mark: 1g Eclipse GSX - 174
Micheal: Evo 8 - 236
Johnathan: WRX STi - 237
Aaron: Mustang LX - 248
Clint: 2g Eclipse GSX - 249
Josh: Mustang GT - 254
Ryan: 2g Eclipse GS-T - 269
Mark: Mach 1 Mustang - 293
Stephen: Evo 8 - 298
Zane: 2g Eclipse GSX - 308
Darek: Trans Am LS1 - 313
Chris: 1g Talon TSi - 353
Dustin: Evo 8 - 430

All of these cars were daily-drivable, pump gas, street cars except the Mustang GT which was a slick-shod, trailered-in drag car running 112.

Highest horspower of the day was Dustin's Yellow Evo 8 at 430awhp. He received his dyno time for free and a t-shirt from Epic Motorsports.

2nd highest was Chris and his 1g Talon AWD(The Purple Monster) at 353awhp. He received half-off his dyno fee and a t-shirt from Epic Motorsports.

Mark and his 1g Eclipse received the "Most Epic Fail" of the dyno day when, after the second pull on the dyno, the harmonic balancer decided to snap apart, turning the alt belt into spaghetti. If you were watching the live feed you got to see the handful of "noodles" we had. Mark received a $50 gift certificate from Epic Motorsports and his buddy(I fail at names) got a t-shirt for helping Mark replace the balancer for the next couple of hours. Big thanks to the guys at Appalachian for letting them use the shop to fix the car.

Heather and her 2g Eclipse will get any one part under her hood powdercoated by Tirado Custom Coatings, for FREE! She will also receive 25% off anything else she wants to have coated. She get's this because her engine bay was the most "in need" at the meet. Now she we be able to have one of the nicest.

I want to thank all of the guys at Appalachian Performance for letting us use thier facilities and set up a couple grills to cook on. I would also like to thank our sponsors Robbie and Epic Motorsports, Carlos and Tirado Custom Coatings, and Mitsu-Media.com. Thank you guys for making this event more than expected.

I would also like to thank all of you who came out for the meet. This was for you. I hope everyone enjoyed it. Hope to see you again next year.

Here's a few pics from the dyno day.

My brother and I are bringing our cars down from Indiana, But I dont believe either of us are doing the dyno time. We are looking forward to seeing all of the Mitsubishi's on the road at once. Is there going to be a drive to the top of the blue ridge parkway for those of us not doing the dyno?
