Its already a fully built dogboxracing trans with evo 3-4th and new input and intermediate shaft, trans has about 1k miles in it. im good friends with alex and chris, so it helps with time in need like always. I called them yesterday, and they always love my call. Im sure it took out the gear under pure torque, if its not going to hold the power its gonna tell you right away.:hellyeah:

I dont care ever, because all these "built" transmissions are is stock rebuilds with best factory parts in them, and better tolerances. When your cars making 500+ ft lbs of torque its only a matter of when its going to break.

I do them alot of favors LOL, and advertise for them so i get the hook up so it dosent bother me helping out, and keeping them occupied.

So I don't feel like starting a new thread for this. I did a boost leak test and had a leak at the throttle body gasket - fixed that. Tested it again and I can here air gushing out some where under/around the intake manifold. The weird thing is I can pressurize the system over 20psi and boost drops off slowly like it should. WTF? I can not find where the air is coming from. I also don't understand how it can be so loud, yet the boost drop off is slow (1psi per second). The BISS leaks but that is no big deal and it's not the main leak. Any suggestions?

Hey sean I was just watching this video then realized I saw this vette at the shop.

YouTube - 05' Sti beats down Z06 - (Victor's Revenge)

?

thats funny as shit, thats my boy Greg. his last vet was NASTY... it was a big cam car. the guy with the sti is his cousin. that thing is fast as shit... give us about 2 weeks and you will see the vette pulling out of my garage.... SHHHHHHHH....... we have fun suprizes...

I had a intake manifold gasket leak like that, also gotta make sure thers no random leaking vacuum lines under there. I dont doubt the intake manifold gasket though.

whats up everyone, i have a very good friend that does paintless dent removal. we are trying to set up a night to have some cars come here to give him some side money... he does phenomenal work. So if anyone is interested please let me know, i need to let him know how many cars will be here. it will be after hours and cash only, its not going through my shop, so i will not be making any money, whatever he charges is what your paying. like i said, he is REALLY good, and cheap as shit... more cars the cheaper it is... please let me know so i can setup the best day to do it...

Good luck with that Sean. I don't have any dents or I would sign up. How's your car running? I am currently experiencing ANOTHER exhaust leak between the turbo and the manifold. I ordered a copper gasket from FFWD which should take care of the problem. The damn turbo doesn't fully spool till 4k right now. It pisses me off. And knowing me I will probably snap a few of the turbo bolts in the process of replacing the gasket.

Yeah definatly. I wanna cruise out there anyway. Sean you have V3 right? Im going to have to learn that alittle but no big deal Im sure I can figure it out. We can have like a day at the shop, and chill if you want. Order food, yell at pedestrians, watch random people do fly bys.

Park the cars up maybe draw some customers for ya.:hellyeah:

we can do a sunday, and yes i have v3... its pretty cool, i have no clue how to work it. but sundays are definatly the best. just let me know when its good for you.

Well this up and comming sunday is some event at atco. I might run in the street class ROFL which should be fun with me on street tires.

I tested out the car last night. Acually ran someone from a stop, cars great on 26psi and street tires. It dosent make enough power in first (unless i anti lag it) to spin, so dragging the car out it was really fair manored. Im sure the coil overs keeping it planted helps ALOT also. Ran my buddies 355 camaro on a shot, got him by a car. Hes consistantly a 10.6@128 car. Not bad for a pump gas 4 banger.

Holy ####.

What trans you running now? What exactly broke?

Same trans, all fixed. Took out 4th evo3 gear and the intermediate shaft.. Sheared all the teeth off, which in term chipped other shit, 2nd, input shaft, center diff, pinion for front diff. So I had to get new stuff.

Saving for a ppg gear box.
