I'm trying to load mmcd 1.8 onto my palm m100. I have successfully hotsync the palm and computer, but it doesn't download the mmcd software onto the palm. I double-clicked on the mmcd.prc file, adding it to the quick download window, it still doesn't work. Any help would be great, I'm trying to get my car tuned asap for a car show.

yes hes right it will only work for 1g cars so it might not be worth even putting on your palm unless you have another car not in your profile. sorry man i was going to tell you how to put it on there. if you still need the know how then just say so and ill tell you. ok

BTW I'd like to find some software that is free or cheap that I wouldn't have to wait to have shipped to me.

Evoscan is the new thing. I believe its $25 for the program and the cable is <$50. It works on laptop. It works on 1g,2g as well as evos. It looks to be a very nice program.
