I just bought a 2g GSX with a 6 bolt swap, 16g, and some other goodies. Need to have it tuned (Probably Ivey, or turbotrix ... yes?) opinions on both would be appreciated. I will be tuning with a SAFC.

I could also use a place that can do some misc. work - I want to add a turbo spoiler cause its been shaved on this one, anyone recommend anyone, or do stuff like this on the side? or if ^^ they do it

You got PM.

Stay away from turbo trix. I've heard horror stories about the way they tune. I would reccommend Ivey. Or get blackspoolin over here to help you tune your car.

Dont even bother paying to get tuned with an SAFC. Do it yourself or get a friend that knows what they are doing to help you with it.

Alex over here at dogbox racing is a really great tuner as well. we also do a lot of misc. work as well.

i would take it to ivey to get tuned and take it to dogbox for work. ivey is the best tuner in the area and dogbox is the best for getting work done, they are cool as hell and best pricing around.

Do not go to turbotrix it will be a big mistake they messed up my freinds gvr4 so bad.

His car is in good hands now :)

if in good hands you mean your hands, Tom, then i can get some sleep knowing another DSM is being done right :thumb:

on another note, wanna finish my DSM? all i got left to do is power rack and pinion and leaky tcase and tune. too cold for me to work on it outside plus hard to find the time.

I'm looking for a shop that can work on my dsm. I live in Syracuse haven't found one here yet, where is dogbox located?

Yes, the car is with me :thumb: I would offer to help, but can't take any more cars in for the time being. I will let you know if I can at least do a tune when you're ready though!

Turbotrix is a hit or miss. Sometimes they do great work, sometimes they screw up.
Ivey is good but I doubt he will tune the SAFC. I believe he only tunes AEM, Motec, Autronic and EcuTek. I emailed him about tuning DsmLink and he said he won't do it.

Hey Sandra, what are you in need of? I only tune AFC/dsmlink and 93/meth. I'd imagine with a setup like yours it would be EMS & race gas, which is out of my league. Anyway, shoot me a PM if you need my help :thumb:

haha yup. toms great and busy like santa clause in december :D ;)

my cars good except for the fact the ebay 16g's nipple broke off, and the jbweld didnt work. so I am awaiting my hx35 to get here - cant drive the car atm.

tom:

check out the thread i got going

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/new...d-up-hx35-am-lost-take-peek-what-id-need.html

but anyways, after talking to the guys at turbotrader, and dsm-onstar, im just gonna go external cause the internal wont work 400+ whp.

so gettin a tial 38mm wg, and an 38mm external wastegate atmosphere dumped o2 housing.

heres a question, what spring would I want? 0.25 bar (3.63 psi)-- 0.4 bar (5.80 psi)-- 0.5 bar (7.25 psi)-- 0.6 bar (8.70 psi)-- 0.7 bar (10.15 psi)-- 0.8 bar (11.60 psi)-- .9 bar (13.05 psi) -- 1.0 bar (14.5 psi)
