Yea my tires aren't in the best shape. I'm not worried about take off, I'm more worried about turning. I mean if its just a little wet then I'm there, but if it rains hard then I'm not. Guess we'll see come Saturday.

I even raced a Twin Turbo 5.0 foxbody.
Very let down.

unless they make over 450WHP, they are nothing special.
I love cobras, don't get me wrong. the 03-04 Cobra is my fav. Honestly, an Evo would be a better buy for the same amount of cash.

Mine was 450rwhp at only 8psi without the juice. A fuel system with 2 ford GT pumps was going to cost me around $3k.... couldn't really see myself spending that on a fuel system when I just drove it a few times a week. Used the $3k as a downpayment on a new civic si. Definitely should have gone with the fuel upgrade, but whatevs.

11.2 @ 132 (i believe) on slicks at 8psi, no juice. Ran on bald (like cords showing) bfg DRs and only managed a 12.5 @ 117. Don't remember the 60's; not so hot with the bald DR's. Even at 8psi, the back end would step out in third gear though. Wish I had kept all the timeslips, but I gave them to the buyer.

How did you get through tech inspections on tires with cords hanging out?

i went to the meet today, it wasnt too bad. i was the lone eagle there though :-( haha. i left around 3:30, there were a bunch of cars, saw 3dsms parked together but didnt get a chance to chat with em. Had to leave, got a bad case of the munchies haha.

whitelightning...... i looked at your car .. couldn't find you to chat too. i was parked by a red 97 GST, white 99 GST and a black 95 GST.

i thought it wasn't a good turn out for dsm's except some of the evo's i saw.
