I just bought a eclipse gsx with high miles for my wife. the only history i know of it is that the tranny was converted to a manual and it has a hks type 1 turbo timer. i believe the injecters where changed. on the electrical side the convertable top, all windows, mph and rpm gauge (but indicater lights work on cluster) allong with the after market gauges dont work. and on the mechanical side when i give it full throotle i lose acceleration and there is as sound that i think is the turbo spooling up. i have hurd of the same prob from the friend that reffered me to this site but i have found no tech support on it. and advice is greatly appriciated.
thanks

I look on the ecu to see if there is a chip to compensate for the bigger injectors. bigger injectors with out the ecu knowing it makes the car run richer and loose hp. It does have slow accleration with bigger injectors with out compensation, you will notice slower increase in rpms too.

but would that force it to lose acceleration when i have the pedal all the way down?

all the ones under the hood are good but as far as under the dash i dont have the fuse box cover to tell me what fuses are for what and what watt. im looking for a diagram over the net now.

all windows and speedometer gauges fixed by just placing 10w fuses in all of the slots in the under dash fuse box and found out that my engine doesnt know i have 660 injectors causing me to run rich. any suggestons on a good chip for my ecu that is reletivly cheap?
