I was driving in 5th gear and noticed when I popped it out of gear, the shifter wasn't sitting in it's usual position (a bit higher up). I tried then going into 4th and it would not go in. I tried going into 3rd and it was fine, then I tried 4th and it went in. I tried doing the process again, going into 5th and then taking it back out, and it was in the strange position again, and still would not go down into 4th unless I went into 3rd first. My guess is that it's the linkage. Does anybody know the process of adjusting the linkage under the hood?

Theres No Adjustment Under The Hood The Adjustment Is At The Shifter You Have To Take The Boot Out And Look At The Cables They Are Going To Have To 10mm Nuts Thats Where You Adjust But I Really Dont Thung Is The Adjustment If The Car Was Find Before>>>>>>also You Mentsion That It Pops Out Of Gear If It Pops The Problem Is Inside The Trans Could Be The Gear That Is Worn Or The Hub And Slider
