The car has been seating for a few month's I have finally gotten everything put back together fixing the issue I had. Tried the car out up the road a few times and the last time I was on my way back I went to pull out of the road I turned around on and going into pushing the clutch in second gear something gave and than my clutch is not disengaging.Would this be a good sign that one of the two (Clutch Master or Slave) could be bad. I have never had either of them to go out on me driving and as it happened after making a few trips up the road I am assuming that is the problem.......correct?

I have a 2600ACT, extended rod, welded clutch assembly, SS line from the master to the slave

You tell us.

Go ahead and actually check those items, both the master and slave cylinders, for leaks and give them a good bleed while you're at it.
You might also want to wiggle around your clutch fork to check for damage.

I did bleed the hell of the system but did not see anything leaking but this would not say anything is bad for sure would it? I took the slave cynlinder off to check the fork by wiggling it around but I am not sure what I am looking for honestly it does have play in the fork but what am I looking for and how much ply is ok? I also was aware that the slave had some liquid inside the boot but I am thinking this my have been where I bleed the system before.

Also looking at the fork arm while pushing in the clutch it pushes the fork like 1-1.25" but does this mean it maybe bad still?

If you had fluid in your slave boot at any point it is almost certainly from a failed slave. But you say the slave does operate normally now, the hydraulics even move the clutch fork 1-1.25" and you still can't move the pressure plate, is that correct?

Yes this is correct. Like I mentioned about the slave there are some fluid in the slave cylinder and I am assuming it was from where I bleed the clutch before as the boot on the slave has a tear in it. I am honestly not sure if the fork is bent as I can only imagine by taking out the trans would be the only way of telling. I am going to check and see if the PP my not be seating all the way onto the flywheel this evening.

Is it not engaging/disengaging in all gears? For instance, you can no longer put it in any of the gears without grinding or whatever?

When I got mine running, I couldn't get my clutch to engage/disengage at all, even with it all the way in and I bled the system like 8 times to double check.

I adjusted the clutch rod under the dash by the gas pedal and it worked fine. Guess it was because I had some resurfacing on my PP done.

I would give that a try. It's a PITA to get done, because it's up under the gas pedal behind a big spring. Just loosen the nut and screw it out a turn or so and see if that helps. If you can't figure out what I'm talking about, crawl under the dash, and have someone push in the clutch while you look above the gas pedal with a flashlight.

If the fork is moving as you describe then the hydraulics should be OK. A bent fork is unlikely, as normal clutch movement will not bend it. It must be something internal....pressure plate failure more than likely.

Did you pull the tranny to inspect it, or the cover? Notice anything odd?

BTW LOVE your car, LOL. Seen it on ECM awhile back. Gorgeous. :thumb:

I plan on pulling the trans tonight to further look at things inside.

Thanks for the comment and work has been done to it since last posted to it including the 6puck disk and 4bolt rear as mention in the forum here.

BTW....I am also the one selling the wheels

After taking the transmission out once again, I think I found the issue...........what would cause a Pressure Plate to do this and does this mean that I should buy a new one?
