Today i fired up my car.I swapped the shortblock. I id the BSEK and i forgot to rotate the rear bs bearing to block the hole. The front one i rotated and blocked the hole.So when i fired up the car,the oil pressure on a cold start was good 55psi.After the car warmed up,im getting 5-7psi of oil pressure. While im driving, the oil pressure is good,i did one WOT pull, and my oil pressure jumped to 100 psi. So my question is.should i really need to take everything apart again, and rotate that one stupid bearing to block of the hole,or should i just keep driving like that????

If i was you even though it would be a big pain in the ass to do is take the motor apart and do it the right way

Oh! I forgot to mention that when you remove the balance shafts; I believe just by doing that you raise the pressure a little bit. I also run the forward facing oil filter bracket, so i have no oil cooler and that raises it as well.

im not sure if you gonna get higher oil pressure bypassing the oil cooler, somebody who knows more bout that, should help you out.....

You only have to block off the front BS bearing oiling hole. The way to relieve some of the oil pressure is to port the oil relief valve in the oil filter housing.

well i blocked it off.but still im on low side ,im getting like 5 psi of oil pressure.... im thinking to go and try to bypass the oil coller and see if it could help me to rais up the oil pressure. BTW If im really on low idle lets say 700-750,could it affect my oil pressure??? because when i hold up to 1k rpms the oil pressure goes to 20-25 psi.I got a cel and it seems ,that its affecting my idle,I think is TPS sensor, because when i unplug the harness from the TPS,the idle doesn't change
