What triggers the power to the MPI relay?

what triggers the power to the mpi relay. I am trying to megasquirt my car and i do not
have a trigger signal. it seems the MPI relay cuts out as fast as i can turn the key. i need
to make sure the CAS has power and a good signal when running and cranking. Thanks
for any help.

I'm 99% sure the ecu sends power to the relay to close it.

yup, ecu controls that, esentally the talons kills switch.. I've had one melt it's connections together because of way to much voltage.. after the internal v-reg died.. ez fix. tho most of the guys in the parts shops had no idea what i was talking about..
