Please.... if anyone has this set up i would appreciate some advice.

I have a 91 Talon Tsi Awd with KYB Agx's and Tein S. Techs and for some reason every time i hit a bump it feels like the front it bottoming out. At this point i am afraid to drive as it sound like the suspension bottoms out or i am about to bend a rim.

Worse yet is that before i had 19's on the car with 35 series tires ........ i understand why this (19's) would be a rough ride. But now i have 18's on the car but with 40 series tires. All of the suspension components are brand new including springs, shocks, tires and rims. I assumed that with a smaller rim and bigger tires i would be in good shape.

By the way the rears are good - Fronts - i have tried setting 1, 2 and 4 for both sides. Ride is rough as hell.

Please i am desperate for any advice.

Thanks!

Check that the upper bearing plate is properly aligned with the coil spring seat on the strut. There is a hole in both the strut and bearing plate that align when installed correctly. They also recommend cutting the bumpstops, the springs should have come with that instruction guide.
