wondering if anyone would be willing to help?

[my first 420a]

so i was wondering if anybody would be willing to help me with my car or just check it out in person and maybe be able to tell me whats wrong with it cause i have posted in another forum and got some ideas but nothing solid and was wondering if anyone could help me out maybe take a look at it and point me in a direction so i can get my dsm running again.

Did you end up pulling your oil pan and checking to see if the bearing failed? I'm willing to help out as much as I can.

Looked good on the outside, I dropped my oil pan and it was like a pinata filled with metal,

Drop the pan and see what goodies you got in there.

im gonna be dropping the pan this weekend, i jsut havent had time with practice today and a football game tommorow. but thats first on my list to do this weekend. if i drop the pan and have a bunch of metal what happened to cause this and how do i fix it?

no i dont loose oil, ha id love to rebuild but thats jsut not in the budget right now.

hate to rain on your parade, but from what you are describing it sounds like a rebuild is right around the corner.

no not yet ive really been trying to find time to do it but have been really busy but i will assure you i will let you know once i drop it.

ok so heres the deal, i didnt drop the pan, but my dad decided we should start with the simpilest thing first he said it was the starter. so we took that out and turned out that was bad so i got a new one and put it in, and still wouldnt start so my dad thought we should check the spark plugs to see if they were good. and we pulled them out and two of them looked like someone took a hammer to the top of it and tried to make a nickel out of it. so im guessing you guys were right when you said it was time for a rebuild . dang this is gonna suck but will be good at the same time.

Oh ya definately time to rebuild, all that broken spark plug shit is totally the problem.

I bet you got some real goodies in the oil pan if you drop it!!!

depends on how much $ you have or if you plan doing anything besides a basic rebuild

It really depends on how bad the damage is too, drop the pan and let us know.

From that spark plug it show your valve stem is either broken or totally bent.By the way how much boost were you feeding your car at the time it happened

well i dont have alot of money but i dont want to rebuild it back to stock if i can afford it. it doesnt have to be anything to special but just want a little something.

where can you get a rebuild kit at?

i think i was running somewhere along the lines of 18-19 pounds of boost. i know thats a little high but i just never thought to adjust it.

well being you say in you profile injector size&Fp unknown with a Maft you atleast have logger right...? get a FP re-wire it & also Look a your injectors to begin with....& what is you maft set @? also ditch that NB A/F gauge and get a WBO2 if you can aford it.

If you want to do it the cheapest way, just go to a junkyard and pull one out of another.

O also ... if you did'nt already go look at your T-belt and check that you did'nt jump time you maybe lucky & not have to rebuild the lower end but from the looks of those plugs I wouldn't count on it...

First off are the Injectors Blue....?
Open the Cover of it & look at what the Dials / Swiches are set at...
Depends on what brand... The AEM Gauge I have I picked up for about $250

yes the head and block is stock.

There's nothing wrong with that much boost on a stock Motor. You Just Have to have the Suporting mods to run it with is not very much....
