ok somehow the bolt on my mbc came out, so i took off the vaccums and connected the turbo vaccum line straight to the waste gate, i have a 44mm waste gate and the scm6270 turbo witch has a vaccum nipple on the back of it for boost controll, and no that i connected it straight to te wastegate the boost is still hitting 20+ i thought it was supposed to only go up to you know like 14 pounds if im running it just off the wastegat and no bc, can somebody explain any type of senario withc could cause this?

your saying theres two nipples on the tail correct? try the other one. somthing isnt right im sure you ran lower boost before correct? the small amount of boost you can run is whatever the gate has in it for springs. So if you were running lower boost before then the gate is set for that or lower so i would check everything or if worse case like said above change the springs in the gate

theres a nipple on the side of the gate and one on top, the one on top has nothing on it the one on the side is running to the nipple on te turbo

thats the correct nipple to run it to.
Check the vaccum line for any pinholes or tears. What spring are you running in the wastegate? ~14-15psi is right for a 1 bar spring, but you could have a larger spring. When you first installed the wastegate and mbc, did you run minimum boost or did you just start cranking it up? What amount of boost were you running before the mbc fubared?

i bought the car with the waste gate allready on it, i've had the boost down to 15-16 pounds befor dogbox built me the motor

now im looking at everything in the car the iac or what ever is on the back of the throttle body is completly mia and theres a magor leak coming for the oil return

its still on the break in stage dogbox racing built the short block i didnt notice the boost problem till i was on the highway 200 miles away and i thought i will just lower it when i get home, then i go to lower it theres no knob on my mbc i take it off and connnecdt ther two vaccums with a fitting and boost is still out of control, the bov is running to the back of my jmfab intake mani

ok, run one solid line to the bov from the IM

Then, take one solid line from your turbo, licp or whatever your pressure source is, and put it STRAIGHT to the wastegate, no mbc inbetween, just one line from the bottom nipple on the wastegate to the pressure source. That should give you solid WG spring pressure. It sounds like you are using 2 lines to get to the wg, just run ONE line.
