i have a 97 GST with a 6bolt that was in the car when i bought it 4 years ago. The shell has 144,000 miles on it so i have no clue how many miles the motor has. It runs great except for lifter tick which drives me INSANE. I replaced the valve lash adjusters with with revised ones. tick is a little better but not gone all the way. I heard that if your oil pump has a lot of miles like mine might that it may not put out enough pressure to fully extend the adjusters. Is this true. Any help would be appreciated.

Try using C foam It really cleans your engine makes it run like new, especially on those start ups and you hear that ticking its your lifters alright!! C foam should do the trick:thumb:

I am using 10 40 full synthetic but im not sure what to run exactly. and i have heard or C foam but what is it.
