Ok...now we all kno how Bad ass the New BW ETT turbos are....I currently have a PTE 6152....with p trim exhaust wheel which flows 68 lbs/min

I am currently running 25psi and see full boost right before 5K....it slowly spools till about 12psi....then BAM 25psi....pulls like a mofo...

I wanted to switch to the JH racing Twin scroll T4 mani....and was wondering how fast I would spool 25psi on a Borg Warner S362 T-4 Twin Scroll .83 A/R

A twin scroll works by separating exhaust pulses. Cylinders 1 and 4 use one side, while 2 and 3 use the other (creating equal spacing of the pulses, the firing order being 1-3-4-2). To properly use a twin scroll turbine housing, you must use a divided manifold. I wish I had a better understanding of turbocharger theory, but I believe the basic idea is to get quicker spool by keeping exhaust velocity up while still allowing enough flow for top end power.

Anyone have any ideas when I would spool 25psi with a twin scroll t4 BW362 set up?....I wish they had a smaller housing than .83 a/r

I wish they had a twin scroll .63 a/r

Just get it in the T3 .85 or .76 housing. They flow more than enough for the S362 and it will help big time on the spool. There are some hondas running around on the .85 T3 divided housings with S366s and are making over 690whp. There is also a SRT4 with an S362 t3 .85 a/r twin scroll that makes 680whp.

hhhmmm...i wonder if they can make me a twin scroll t3 housing????....I assum that would be better

True but it would choke the upper end of the turbo. What are you looking to accomplish here? I mean, more specifically, what are your HP or 1/4 goals?

I've got the .83 div t4 362. Not sure when I'll have an answer for you though.. This thing keeps dragging on.. I hope to start tuning next week though.

We're currently finishing up Tort's S362 setup with the .85 divided T3 hotside using the GVAutosport divided manifold. We haven't been able to go WOT yet because we're still on stock pump/injectors temporarily until the twin 255 setup is finished. Just from doing low RPM rolls in 3rd and 4th, I can tell you this thing is ready to make boost real fast. By 4k at part throttle it's already making over 10psi and starting to howl. I can't see 30+psi under 5k being a problem. This is on BC280s and a JMF drag manifold, so I'd imagine a milder setup using the .76 hotside would spool even faster. I'd say the .83 T4 hotside would be too big for this turbo on a 2 liter, it'd be more laggy and wouldn't help up top. The GV manifold is available in div. T3 or T4 with single or twin gates, and they can get you the turbo at a great price as well. I think they've got a sale in the vendor forum right now.

:thumb: Getting there I see. Fantastic as I'm dying to hear commentary on the mani there Steve. Looks damn good.:thumb:

I just fried my fuel pumps on the first trip out of the garage in a yr yesterday.. So waiting for the new ones to get here. Felt great to have the car out though, until it died on the busiest road in the city. :tease:

Glad to hear Tort is still alive. I'm kind of sad to hear, he's no longer with the 20g after all these years. I know he'll finally make it into the 10's and maybe a bit lower with that setup.
