I went to NYIRP with a few buddies for a private track rental. I brought spare parts like a transfercase, and all 4 axles. Once everyone said hello we all started prepping the cars and unloading all the tools and extra parts and tires we brought.

I mounted up my drag radials and aired them down to 24psi. After shooting the **** and letting the cars cool down, I make my first pass of the day. I was short on the 2step and it seemed to bog just right as I cut a 1.56 60' but then missed second gear still running an 11.4 @ 132.

The next pass I stayed on the 2step a little longer continued doing so the rest of the day, which was actually resulting in worse 60's. This pass was
1.67 60'
7.07 @ 102.3
10.84 @ 132.46

The next pass was damn good minus the wheel spin.
1.62 60'
6.86 @ 104.93
10.56 @ 135.03

The last pass of the day was ok more so just a backer.
1.62 60'
6.94 @ 102.63
10.74 @ 131.34

That was the last pass of the day because I broke my alternator relocation kit. Which I irronically I was just saying to Chris- orzech that I didn't really trust the aluminum bracket and planned to make my own out of steel. I guess I jinxed myself.

Damn that's quick. Engine bay looks nice and tidy, too, even with that huge L/A IC stuffed in there. Are the pump/reservoir and radiator for the IC in the stock smic location?

nikkeebabe- Yes andrew was one of my inspirations for pushing the 93oct. I do have to say that my car weighs more and I'm not on a stroker with full slicks. As well as I'm at the top of the pumpgas list:)

matthewdesigns- w2a radiator is front mounted and I made a custom resevoir in the driverside windshield washer area

fwdmaster- thanx!

chrish1440- it's in my profile 3080 with driver.

Pretty impressive Gary......... congrats!!!!!!

hostile kid- thanks

IvanPSI- ya I couldn't believe the 60's either when I pulled up to the booth. The big things I did this year that I think made the most difference besides the dr's is the active toe elimantion, an alignment, polyurethane pushing in suspension, stiff as shit megan racing coilovers.

ARFWD- from jayracing it was a prototype supposedly for the saturn alt. They already sent me a replacement and requested the broken part back for testing and analysis.

what kind of boost, a/f ratio, and timing are you running under full load via aem ems? Methonal/alcohol/water injection? Great numbers man!

redtsi252- thanks. Was your buddies 2g on stock block?

1fastlaser- boost is 27psi, 10.8 - 11.4afr's depending on rpm as to account for peak torque, 6.5-7.26 degrees of timing. But I haven't checked my cas position since I updated the firmware so it may be off a few degrees.

I have nothing other than 93 and boost pumping into the motor. I have a meth injection kit and nitrous kit if I want to get 9's on pump and additional power adder. I think I'll be limited to a 10.3 time range on 93 alone unless I take some weight out.

I also just want to say that I love this clutch and thank you to Marco from Magnus for selling it to me. I honestly don't think I'd have as good of luck with any other clutch.

redtsi252- It's still cool, 11.2 is still hauling that was my best time last year before nlts.

rhamlinii- If you're asking me then I have to say I honestly don't know, my dyno numbers are from last year on less boost before good cams and my intake manifold. If I had to guess I'd say 500whp max.

You should be able to tastefully get another 200lbs out of that car..
My DD laser is 2900 with driver and by the end of the year Ill have another 70-80 lbs out of it and still have power windows and heat...

Great times, man. Congrats. Who tunes your car???
And your 60' TIMES, JUST F@#$in awesome. I've allways suspected that a great clutch like twin or triple disc does a great job of improving 60' and a 1/4 mile times. Good luck.

awsome times, everyone gives me shit because im going to run a stock bottom end on my build. treads like this should shut them up. LOL

My goals are 450whp, 2600lbs car with me in it, and mid to low 10s on the stock bottom end.

How much dose your car weigh?

Anyways awsome job, keep it up!

Black_Bullet - Ya I weigh 210 so if I'm not in it there's the tasteful weight reduction LOL I think I can get another 75 out of it and be happy as I plan to put my stereo back in. Right right now all the speakers are in the car just no hu. Also 3080 was with 13gallons of gas.

andy4g63 - Thanks! I tune it myself, as I'm a factory certified aem tuner. My last shop Hybrid Connection Inc, sent me to cali to get the cert. As far as the 60' I'm pretty pumped about them also as I still spin a bit.

ihatedsms - It takes a lot of patience and good parts to make it to 450 on pump gas and stock block, but race gas or e 85 and good tuning will help. My car weighs 3080 with me in it/ 210 lbs.

Wow thats nuts your doing this in a 3000lb+ car. Im going to be running on C-16 tho hoping to make 450 to 500. Ill see how it goes.
