ok so im driving and i here a knocking cuming form the motor 2k and up but if i floor it in those rpms it goes away. when i start the car u here it knock for one sec then goes away.

can i just change the rod bearings or the pistons

drain the oil and look for bearing material in the oil first before you tear the motor apart

When this happened to me, it was just my exhaust banging up against something.

Rod knock can vary from sounding like a slight valve tap to a full on hammer-to-block. someguyonline is right, drain your oil and check if there are any metal shavings in the oil.

Push in your clutch, does the sound go away?
