My wife and I are planning on moving down to San Antonio late July if everything goes well. Thought you guys might be able to help me figure out the where's and what's of San Antonio. I'm going to be selling my gsx to swarm the site admin here, and probably start a racecar project when we get situated. Looks like you guys have a few DSM'ers don there. I won't be needing a cowboy hat to fit will I?

No cowboy hats here, I always refer to SA as little CA. About half the people I know here (including me) are from CA. We get a pretty nice crowd at all the meets so they are always fun. As for San Antonio, I couldn't tell you a whole lot, the Alamo and Riverwalk get boring pretty fast, thats all I know...

San Antonio is pretty nice but yes the alamo and riverwalk do get boring fast LOL, also i didnt know i had people that lived near me LOL.

I think you will like San Antonio, it doesn't share the same problems other large cities do (i.e. crime, traffic, etc.). The city is just big enough to offer something for everyone.

I'm curious as to why you would sell your GSX? A good running AWD turbo vehicle is not easy to find.

San Antonio once had a lively DSM crowd, I look forward to starting interest once again in our beloved DSMs.

I think our DSM crowd is more active than its ever been. We are having meets almost every month now. I cant remember it ever being this organized or this big. Check out the thread about the next meet on Sept. 20th.

Maybe I've been the one out of practice. I remember back in the day when our meets were sponsored by Forced Performance, and included guest speakers like DMS guru Brian Hood. Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting more involved.
