The HID lights I sell are a plug and play upgrade to provide about 200% more light than a standard halogen bulb. They use a ballast and igniter setup to ignite a gas in a bulb that produces the actual light. You will simply need to know what bulb type you are upgrading and then decide on a temperature which will determine the colour of the light. 5000K and 6000K are the most popular. 5000K is pure white and 6000K is light blue. The closer you get to 12,000K the deeper the blue gets. 4300K is white with a hint of yellow and is what all OEM manufacturers use for OEM HID setups.
