ive got a 97 eclipse rs i recently purchased some off brand bolt ons (ceramic header, stainless catback exhaust system, and a cold air intake) are these going to be a great difference from top of the line and will they possibly damage my engine

No I don't see any way they'd hurt the engine.
There will be very minimal if any differences between the performance gains of name brand exhausts and intakes versus ebay ones.
You really won't gain a whole lot of power just by doing these mods anyway, just in case you were expecting a major change.

Just read a article on super street and they did i/h/e on a Scion Tc and got 12 more hp. A intake is a intake as long as it doesnt have a hole in it your fine. Anyway, like Chris said dont expect too much other then a sound difference. Depending on the exhaust you got.

No you won't notice a gain with name brand or non-name brand from any of those parts

No you won't damage your engine from these parts

No damage will occur.

I just got in a header, intake, test pipe, and cat back from an Ebay seller. Killer deal. Most of it fit well.
The intake was not even close. Unless I relocate the battery.

Anyway, you'll see a small amount of power, but I made the changes mostly to up fuel mileage. After adding the parts went on a rather long jaunt and picked up 5 mpg.:thumb:

5mpg? Geez thats a big difference considering I only get 20 right now.. Makes me want to hurry up and get some new exhaust

your not gonna see much power and fmp isnt something you should hope on. everyone says an exhaust and headers benefits are Include Reduced Backpressure For Improved Acceleration And Towing Power, Cooler Underhood Temperatures, A Cleaner And More Efficient Burn In The Combustion Chambers, Better Fuel Economy, ect. LOL but all that is a bunch of s#!t. back pressure is the only thing affected and thats just the resistance of exhaust flow..... nothing will truely be gained...... BUT your car will sound a hellof alot better. as for the quality. dont worry none of those parts have any effect on the tuning or adjustments to our motors so it wont hurt a thing plus there is only 2 manufactures that really make intakes and they are distributed to dozens of sister companies.... you will pay for the name. there is no difference between a bosal, borla, and flowmaster. except price...... so basically you have nothing to worry about...... ebay is the way to go.
