Wow!!!

Can we have more details please? How close are you from making some drag passes? Coming to the DSM SO in Ohio? :)

BTW, we have your staright axle rear-end and wheelie bars on our race car. Great parts!!

The pictures posted are from last Friday night at Maple Grove. We are trying to get the torque converter sorted out right now. We are going to be running I/D Comp eliminator in the NHRA Powerade series.

How are you able not to run any oil or water lines to the turbo and no intercooler of some sort. Can you shed some light on that?

There's no intercooler because they're likely running methanol. Shep and Rau (among others, I'm sure) don't run intercoolers either.

As for the turbo oiling.... that one I'm not too sure. But plenty of turbos aren't coolant cooled.

Look at the second picture. You can see a black line with a red fitting on the turbo. I'm going to say that is the oil line. And Mr Boxx is probably right, no water line. I'm guessing that it's a filled block anyways, so there'd be no coolant to go in the line.

We will be running the car next @ MapleGrove on Friday night July 25th. If you're in the area stop by

Please post a video of this car so we can hear what lovely sounds it makes :)

Ive always wanted something like this. The shop where my dad worked campanged a sbc powered front engne dragster in a midwest supercomp series. That dragster was a top gas record holder in the 60's I belive it went over 200mph with a blown 392.. The shop sold it and moved on to a Roadster. I wanted to buy it and build a N/A 4g63 on NITRO for it..

Anyway I always thought that this would be a good setup for Comp Eliminator.. Will you be running all the national events? Such as the race at RTE 66 in Joliet, Il ?
