Need suggestions please. Im finishing off my build and just finishing up my very lightly upgraded suspension. Car (2g) came with KYB AGX's all around and eibach lowering springs. Im in the process of swapping to Tein S-tech springs for better ride quality and also the prvious owner cut the springs (who cuts lowering springs?!?!). Ive finished the front and im stuck on the rear. The bolt holding the bottom of the strut to the knuckle will NOT come off. Tried heat, 750pds/tq impact gun... litterally nothing will budge this bolt. Also I noticed that my bushing connecting my knuckle to upper ball joint is fried. Can I just replace this bushing or is it supposed to be pressed into the knuckle? Where can I buy one / does the energy suspension kit include that bushing?

thanks in advance for your help!

Tried LP, pb blaster .. everything. I would kick it but the bolt is still holding it on with an oversized washer that is larger than the eyelit at the bottom of the shock. I think im going to just cut the bottom of the shock and buy new rears, dont know what else to do. Tried to take weight off of it yesterday with a spring compressor and a jack (wasnt having it) so im forced to replace both rear's now.

i had the same problem before but on a bolt holding the alternator to the bracket on a civic, i tried everythign, it wouldnt move, i beat the hell out of it for like a week use like 2-3 cans of pb, tried heat, then one day i just hit it with with the hammer and it came out. so dont give up you can over come it! beat the bolt!!!! :beatentodeath:

Dude, just take a 1/2" breaker bar and slide a 4ft pipe to the over it and use that as a cheater bar. Adding more leverage makes bolts come off a lot easier. I frequently use my jack handle for this very purpose. I have actually gotten bolts loose this way easier than an inpact gun. Although, now I can't use the upper portion of my jack handle as it is out of round and won't slide into the lower half :thumb:
