Ok here's my long story in short form.
Timing belt job was done 5 times within a 6 month period. Each time, there was something wrong, always a tooth or two off. Of the 5 times, I personally did 2 of the installs. Couldn't seem to get it right. 3 other associates of mine at mechanic shops did the other 3 jobs, didn't get it right either. As of right now, I'm driving with the timing off and the car hesitates like crap.
I'm really tired of putting up with this issue and I don't want to take it to another generic mechanic only to have the same issue again. If anyone on here knows absolutely sure how to do this job perfectly right and is interested (or knows anybody who might be), please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it. I'm willing to pay someone $100 to do this for me. It's not much, but hey, I thought I might as well try.
