I was curious if this is everything I need to have a small turbo. Working on building my other block but wanted to start off with something small.

eBay Motors: JDM'S 95-99 ECLIPSE 420A NT TO T3/T4 TURBO KIT 96 97 98 (item 140242631834 end time Jun-25-08 18:53:52 PDT)

Please let me know if there is anything else I need to add to this and if stock pistons would be fine with this turbo setup until my other block is finished. Thanks alot.

Fuel system!!(pump, fuel management...etc.) search this forum it has a lot of answers for you!

Stock system will be fine if your tune is right...

ehh i have a hard time searching through forums and finding things. So I would need a fuel pump?

Give the search a try - this does get answered a lot. It takes a few queries and some scanning through crap, but you'll find it.

I'll help you out anyways - The most frugal fuel system will be a Walbro 255lph + 12:1 FMU + Stock injectors. This will be ok to ~8psi of boost, assuming you are using an intercooler. Without an intercooler, don't go above ~5psi. You'll need an FCD or ML as well, to prevent fuel cut.

what is 12:1 FMU?

what is 12:1 FMU?

"Fuel management Unit"

http://www.dsm-ezine.com/sleeper5_stage_1.html

The simplest way to add the additional fuel required is with a FMU . A FMU is
basically a second FPR(fuel pressure regulator) that is installed between the
stock FPR and the return fuel line heading back to the tank. As boost pressure
increases, the fuel pressure will increase above the set limit of the factory FPR
at an increment determined by the size of the FMU you are using. FMU's
generally are available in sizes ranging from 12:1, 10:1, 8:1, 7:1, 4:1, and 3:1.
The most commonly suggested size FMU to use on our car when using the
stock FPR and fuel injectors would be the 12:1 ratio unit (this isn't necessarily
the best choice, read on). What this means is that for every 1 lb. of boost
pressure, the fuel pressure will rise by 12psi above the static fuel pressure set
by the stock regulator.

so that kit + a walbro fuel pump and FMU i can install this turbo? About how much knowledge on cars do i need to install this? And where can i get a cheap FMU but good quality?

I wouldn't recommend installing a turbo kit without all the proper tools and knowledge. Especially, if it's going on your daily driver. If you've changed a clutch before, you probably wouldn't have too much problems with it. Search here for more info.

420A Turbo Conversion - DSM Forums

i searched and cannot find anything on how to put in the turbo.

Don't waste your money buying that crappy "kit" off of egay. I wouldn't trust putting 80% of that stuff on if I was planning on turboing my car. All those parts are cheap imitations and will fail a lot earlier. Do some research for once and figure out what is all needed to turbo your car and buy better components and spend less in the long run. Spoon-feeding is not the way info is given on forums, you need to do some research on your own to find information.
