I went to GLD today for Import Wars 3, and I got to say that if it wasnt rained out it would have been alot of fun. I think that having it from 3pm-10pm is a nice change as opposed to having it start at 9am.

The next one is July 19th, try getting there! I only saw 1-2 DSM's there and it was kind of depressing.

Also if you have a 8-9-10 second car come out so the Outlaw class can get going again! If there are enough cars 1st place will get $1000!

Yah if you would of went to the one yesterday (Saturday) you wouldnt have gotten much of a show, they didnt even start the qualifying sessions before it started to pour, although I did get to make a few free runs seeing as how they gave free admission to whoever was there for the next event. :)

I'm in Madison right now, too bad I didn't know about this event otherwise I would've gone at least to watch!

Its in Union Grove, they have a website: GreatLakesDragaway.com

Scott, I broke my stuff again -- just transmission -- 3/4 gears and hub/slider along with a center diff and output shaft.

I am rebuilding the transmission this week, and should have the car ready for that race.

I am not sure if I will be attending that race because I am returning from my honeymoon the evening before the race.

No matter what, I will be attending the August, September and October races.

The car will be around 800AWHP and track ready -- I also need to finish the 10-point and install the parachute -- just too busy to do so currently. Worst case scenario, I do some fast passes and turn it down to less than 150mph.

Are you able to get any of the shop cars to come down? Ivan and his 240?

I will talk to a few of the regulars from the Pro Outlaw class to get their cars together and get their butts down there for the last few races of the season also.

Looking forward to seeing you all down there!
