New best for the Mirage - 8.47@169MPH

We ran a new best with our Mirage during the Pro Compact final here in Canada. We lost to the Civic but I think it's a pretty honorable defeat.

We also backed up that time with an 8.48@169MPH on the run before that.

Well, it didn't exactly "blew up". The crank bolts snapped. We made some changes on the converter so the crank bolts can sit deeper in the crank. It's the same trans since the beginning of 06. It probably made around 100 passes since.

Are you running stock bolts? We drill out the tabs on the converters and tap them to take a 7/16 bolts.

We broke the bolts that hold the flexplates to the crank, not the converter bolts. Converter bolts are not stock, but crank bolts are.
