Just giving a heads up to you guys cruising around Lemon Grove. I spotted a "Survey Crew" going southbound on 54th street near University Ave. I honestly thought it was mere construction at first, but the officer was pulling over what looked to be "modified" cars. Cars with even just rims and taillights were being pulled over. I realized that they were testing their "legality" when they were being inspected underneath on ramps and all.
Drive safe guys...
ps: LUCKILY I was in my gf's car at the time LOL.

Don't mean anything negative by this but what exactly do you mean by "Survey Crew"??

I have lived in many different states and a "Survey Crew" has always been refered to Land Surveyors working along the road. Just hate for people to get the wrong Idea when we put out our signs that say "Survey Crew Ahead"

Usually Cali is very strict when it comes to modified cars, I believe he means it's like a Police enforcement that is pulling over any modified cars and inspecting them.

Yeah, sorry for the confusion. You both are right on it. I ALWAYS thought that it had something to do with land surveyors for construction which made me wonder why the police officer was there in the first place. It was definitely deceiving; they had car ramps, fans, and I'm guessing emissions testing devices?!?
