I'm getting grinding noise from the tranny either when in neutral or in gear but it goes away when the clutch is pressed in or I give it some gas while crusing.
So I think that I might have a bad TOB but it was replaced about 10k miles ago with a new SBR 4K clutch and Fidanza flywheel.

What could be causing such premature bearing wear?
Could a bent fork or pivot ball cause this noise ?

Having a slowboy clutch is your first problem, and they use OEM TOB's

No problems with my SBR clutch over here it holds like a champ. It's the redesign version of the 4k series.:thumb:

What causes premature TOB wear?

Faulty TOB or not greasing it correctly/enough.

The noise would go away when you press the clutch in, but it shouldnt be RPM dependant.
