I want to know if there is any one around the Greenville, SC area? I have just bought my first DSM and want to meet some folks around my area...

Hey I'm from the Clemson/Anderson area. I go to Clemson University and there are a few DSM'ers around here as well. I drive a Black 98 GST (partially cracked front bumper currently ....been meaning to get that fixed LOL).

I, too am a Clemson student... Unfortunately the car is back home (Indiana), but I'm definitely around

Congrats on your first DSM!

Well all be damn a couple people from around my area. We should meet up sometime. And jaday you should definitely get your car to south carolina. Yeah at the moment the power steering belt on my car has broke off so no more power steering. :( I have some body work to do also and some maintenance but for $1500 not a bad car.

Sweet I found another Clemson student. I'm a Graphic Communications major so I'm usually in Godfrey all the time LOL. We should definitely meet up sometime, there are a few other GST's in Anderson that I have spotted but idk how to get a hold of them other than randomly catching them on the road.

P.S. Do either of you know where I can find a front bumper? Like a junkyard or anything. Online they are cheap but the shipping is ridiculous, its double the price to just ship it.

there was a junkyard in anderson off masters blvd that had a 97 bumper...
and another in donalds that had a nasty looking 96... the bumper may be ok on it.

Thanks for the information man. I'm gonna go out there Friday, hopefully it's still there.

it isnt ON masters blvd... its right off masters... its easy to spot...
when im out this weekend ill get the exact address... or stop by and see if he still has the car.

i called a friend in donalds and found out the 96 is gone now.

you know if your bumper is just cracked... it shouldnt be to hard to fix.
even if it is rather mangled you should still be able to fix it.

Ok thanks. And I would try and fix it, but there's just too many things messed up with it. Like a fist sized dent, and some random paint peeling spot that was there when I bought it.

the bumper off masters has a big ass crack in it....

regardless of whether you fix it or buy a new one you will still have to fix the dent and paint it.

if you decide you want to fix it an need some help let me know and ill see if i can squeeze out some time to help you.

Guys, we need to be buddy on this site. I mean not in a ### way. Let have meets. Let's meet at a Starbucks sometime. I'll try and arrange it.:talon:

Or we could do Wild Wings/Hooters ROFL. But I'm down....I will try and run down a few of the other GST's in Anderson if I see them and see if they would be interested.

Whats up guys, haven't been on tuners in a while and just saw this post. I am normally around Greenville/Spartanburg area. As far as shops go, there is a shop in Spartanburg called Top Dead Center. Check them out at tdcauto.com

I'm going to start taking names and if we can get more than 5 people to do this I'll set it up. PM me your names and numbers or just post them I'll check back in a few days.:talon:
