These are Sparco Fighter seats that are fiberglass, so we just put a button head bolt through them with a large washer and a nut on the back. Beneath the fabric and padding, you cannot tell they ar there. IT did stiffen up the mounting a lot.

This why I chose to keep them in. The bottom and backs were 20 pounds total.
