I just got a narrowband(Light show). I looked everything up on here and tapped into number 76 on the ECU.But i am not getting any readings still. So i re wired it to the o2 sensor its self(white wire) still nothing. I do have the rest of the guage hooked up right cause the light does turn on but just dows not move.My question is would a bad O2 senor cause this? My O2 sensor is throwing a CEL, but i imagen that the gauge will still work even if the O2 is broke.

thanks

if your 02 was/is throwing a code you should replace it anyways, and i beleive the wire for the o2 gauge is on the passenger side kick panel behind some other wires and already has a female connector on it, so you just have to run the wire from the gauge to this wire. also i don't think the gauge does anything at idle, i'm not sure if you took it out and drove it around or not, but at idle you probably won't see the gauge move at all anyways.

If your O2 sensor doesn't work, then the gauge can't work. All the gauge does is light up according to the voltage of the O2 sensor.

At idle, it should bounce around as the O2 voltage sweeps.
