Hot Import Nights mini meet

hey guys i wanted to plan a mini meet for the day of hot import nights in seattle. this year it will be on august 2nd. we will meet on the east side of the lake to make it so we have a bit of a cruise. we will meet at Marymoor park in Redmond then go 520 to 405 to I-90 to the show. the reason this route is chosen is so that we can run through the tunnels on I-90 for some great sounds.

we will meet at around 5pm and probably leave to the show at 6pm or so.



i could use some help getting the word out. so if people could post in the SRT4 forums and Evo forums that would be great. just copy and paste what is above. i know there is still lots of time until then but hey it doesnt hurt to get he word out early.

fjm.. what happened to last years meet? Only like 5 of us showed up (and you weren't one of them) LOL. I remember you were the one putting the whole thing together too.

Regardless, I will be there again this year!
 
ya sorry about that... i got royally f'ed at work.

microsoft... when they have a deadline... they mean DEAD. but the problem now is a moved away and i am good 100 miles away but ill be working a more normal job so ill be able to get it off. but the drive is gonna be killer.

really sorry about that man. for sure that wont happen this year.

hey r u in contact with those mirage guys from eastern wash. should get them to come out again. and get them signed up for the june big meet

I'm not. I remember that you had mentioned them, but I'm not sure who it was you were talking about.

I actually DO know one guy with a badass Mirage that lives very close to me. We came over for the November 17th Meet last year together. Some of the guys that frequent these meets probably remember him. I know that there's a couple of Scoobies that won't forget him anytime soon. :sneaky:
 
haha sweet. ya like usual try adn drag as many people to this as possible. i am working on getting little flyers mad that we can print out and put on the windshields of cars we find around town.
 
Me and chimpo, the guy with that mirage will be in seattle that night but after hin we hit up kent thats were it all goes down...

the more the better. we are all about hanging out. doesnt have to be a pure DSM. we all love cars. that is what this is about
 
Yeah Ill let them know we'll have fun... maybe I can have one of the guys in the sylvia give you a ride damn car is sweet.

yeh 300 cars and how many cops to match + there new helicopters....kent street races are where idiots like to hang out and attempt to race there hondas and then everyone likes to drive off before the cops nail them. Racings fun and i have been but its the dumbest thing to do off track. Not only that but you do get a ticket for just watching or worse you get hit by a car casue not everyone knows how to handle what they have, and the cops will amp up when it comes down to the car show. On a positive note i have been there and chilled at the safeway just hanging out that was sweet, and watching my buddy steve race his 240 and people getting mad when his stock car beats them but that was back in the day LOL like 3 years ago.
 
Who said anything about street racing? last time I went nobody was doing any street racing we were just there chilln.
 
its pretty much implied thats why people go there, i wasnt saying your going to do it so no offense on that one. Last time i was up there tho they corden off all gas stations so you cant park in them...pain in the ass for people that need gas tho.
