yeah i am actually 17 now. I've always been saving up for things since i was little. when i was five i saved up and got a go kart, then i traded that off on a four wheeler. Then when i was 15 i got an 87 honda accord, then I worked for two summers, sold my accord and fourwheeler and bought my dsm. I drove it two days and the turbo went out. Put the 16g in and went two weeks before i anihilated my clutch so i put in the 2600 and ive been runnin pretty good since then.
 
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It runs finally, I started it up tonight and got to back it up and launch it forward a hole 3 feet. I need some exhaust and a boost gauge but i have a little fuel pressure gauge that will work for now. And also when I got to rev it kinda dies then picks up so i'm going to lock into that and hoock up my logger tomarrow or latter today however you want to look at it. I was all excited i thought I was gonna be able to drive it and go cruise but oh no I have to have the plates and tags first, so monday I get to drive it to school and be pimp shit
 
ok guys well its coming up and i wanna get shit figured out and get some of this in stone so we can advertise specifics and get a good turn out. the way i see it no one will be very interested if we say well sometime this summer. So i think we should do it the weekend of June 28/29. Meet up in Casper maybe friday night. We should pick a cheap hotel to stay at and make up some flyers and stuff to start puttin around and i've seen a few dsm's in town that idk who they are so im gunna make some business card type deals to call me and i will get them the info. if anyone has anything they want to add or change about that plan let me know:thumb:
 
ooo well shit if wyo tech has 20 guys we will probably have to accomodate to them. i was hoping we could do this during summer break but idk it might work out to do on the may dates. How many of you wyo tech guys are down for coming?
 
well guys i think ive mentioned before but im also a wyotech attendee and will also be gone 20june, BUT will only be gone for that week. i still have 2 more classes and will be around until mid december of this year.

Sorry to just jump on the bandwagon, I live in laramie and I would be down for a dsm meet. I think douglas would be the place to do it, at least they have a drag strip and it is a pretty nice town and has better weather than laramie. I have a 98 GSX, but I am trying to get a 98 Tsi soon.

youre trying to get a talon in addition to the GSX?
if not why dont you just get a rear bumper, tail lights, front bumper, spoiler and door lines?
 
Cause the Gsx is an automatic, and I would rather have the Tsi since it is a 98 and is rare in that respect. By the way you guys should come to Sonic on saturday nights, we go hangout there and go race once in a while
 
Well my car will be ready to go regardless..

And I am about to graduate High School so I can make some actual cash and mod this bi*** up...The engine was already rebuilt 30k ago.

But yeah, we ought to work something out Sky.

I have a friend who has a black GSX 1g.....but he is kinda into rice.......ROFL

thats true about the talon, they are rarer in 97-98. eh im not a fan of going out to race on the streets, they actually invited me out last weekend. that and the roads out here are crap, i mostly drive my jeep so i dont have to worry about bottoming out.:tease:
 
Usually around 9 o'clock or so theres usually a few cars there but you can tell when there is a crowd in the parking lot
 
I dont usually race anyway I just go watch and hangout with friends, RotaryAE86 you can still come out and show off your car
 
Sonic I don't go to Sonic. Well i might now if dutchy is going down. Why don't you ever call me when your going out with the boys. Ohh and Dutch if Larry has his car set like normal, DON'T FREAKIN DO IT. Just watchin your back. And thanks again Larry!!!
