I have a 1G Mitsu Eclipse GS-T A/T. Just recently, I had considered doing a small fuel system upgrade. I was planning on getting a walbro 190lph fuel pump, 450 injectors, rewire the fuel pump. As an addition to the upgrade, I was thinking of putting in the M/T ECU to avoid running rich, but I was wondering if there are any other parts I should change as well to avoid problems with my car.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but you might need a M/T FPR, too. I think the stock A/T FPR runs higher fuel pressure (43ish) whereas the M/T FPR runs like 38ish. So my guess is that you need the M/T ECU, 450s, and M/T FPR. If you go with a 190 FP, you'll still overrun it, so you'll still need the AFPR. And since the cost of a 255 vs. a 190 isn't really a big deal, I'd say to go with the 255 instead of the 190. But I'd also like to see what others say.

If you're upgrading your fuel you'll definitely need something to tune with whether it be an SAFC, DSMLink, ECU+...etc.

The 1g auto tranny cars have a different ECU than manual tranny cars. The A/T cars run 390cc/min injectors, while the M/T cars run 450cc/min injectors. He plans on getting a M/T ECU and the 450cc/min injectors. But I think the A/T and M/T FPR is different; the A/T runs higher fuel pressure than the M/T. That's what I'm hoping someone else can confirm and perhaps elaborate on.:thumb:
