Shops in or around Houston, TX

Good friend of mine just moved to Houston. He has a fully built 1G with a 37R and is looking for a good shop that can take care of him. Some dyno tuning would be a plus...AWD of course. Can anyone recommend a shop or two for him to go check out?

Best and only DSM specific shop in Houston is FIST racing (Forced Induction Solutions & Tuning (F.I.S.T. Racing)). Give them a call and ask for Mike. Tell him Kevin sent ya.

As for AWD dynos, there are two in Houston. Engin Logics and Turbochargers.com. Would recommend staying away from the TC dyno as there was an incident a few years back concerning a WRX dyno meet that ended with bent control arms due to improper anchor placement on the cars. Engine Logics is the way to go, be warned, their dyno reads true and that generally is known to be a tear jerker.

Thanks man! Yea, I am here in Houston with him but I go back to Florida tomorrow morning. Gave him the links and contact info and we appreciate it. I will have to get him on houston-dsm if I can, or he'll probably just want my forum whoring ass to get on there for him

Well, just got back from BSing up there for a couple hours. Great guys, knew their stuff, and seems like a successful business so far. Thanks and I did tell them you told us to stop by.
