It will but will require andjusment of the shifter cables, i did it in my FWD, it was a 90 and but a 91 trans in it. It took a lot of adjustment to even get it to shift into all gears, even when it did it was stillk a little notchy and i eventually ended up breaking a shift fork, wether it was the power it was making of the way the trans was rigged, i dont know, but when i put the right tranny in it i dint have any problems from there on. Just some food for thought.
